Atiwa Computing Inc (pronounced "uh-TEE-wuh") is one of Houston's largest independent computer services company. We accomplish this goal by providing the following technology services; 1.Information Technology (I.T.) support: we support any equipment that is on a company's computer network.2.Rentals: we rent any type of office technology equipment, such as computers, printers, plotters, monitors, fax machines, copiers, shredders, cell phones, projectors, sound systems, screens, and audio visual equipment for periods as short as 1 day.3.Printer and copier managed services: we offer complete monitoring, management and support services for your printer and copier fleet. this includes supplies, parts, repairs, inventory control, Help Desk Services, cost control, optimization and green initiatives.4.How we're different than the other guys: We're Fast. Accurate. Guaranteed.Atiwa has The World's Shortest Mission Statement: "Helping Others." That passion for helping people is what gets us all up in the morning, coming to work with smiles on our faces. It is a very tangible and great joy to help our clients find ways to contain costs, be more productive, be more secure, and go green...all at the same time! We don't have fancy offices, drive fancy cars, or have high overhead. We primarily invest in good, reliable people with excellent talent who fundamentally, at their core, enjoy helping people more than just about anything else in life. Part of our promise to our clients is to provide fast, friendly, reliable service. A human ALWAYS answers the phone during business hours. And that's not all: you can reach someone at Atiwa Computing 24 / 7 / 365 - our phone number rolls to an on-call person after hours, on weekends, and holidays for any emergency that needs help. By the way, we get a lot of questions about the origin and meaning of the word "Atiwa." Atiwa is a Native American term, Choctaw Indian actually, that means "Opening doors." We liked that term because it best describes what we do for our clients: Open doors to technology solutions. Let us help open doors for YOU! A little about Wayne: prior to founding Atiwa Computing in 1983, Wayne held various executive positions with United Energy Resources in Houston, and Fluor Daniel in California. Wayne also served 5 years as a U.S. Army officer following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. In addition, Wayne holds a MBA degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Wayne hails from El Paso, Texas, which, contrary to popular belief, is NOT the end of the earth...but you sure as heck can see it from there!
